The Spindle Summer Labs
You learn best when you have fun, are connected and relaxed. This is the philosophy behind The Spindle Summer Labs. In five fridays, the participants of the selected teams actively engage in Design Thinking as a process for problem-solving. With its main ingredients: creativity, ambidextrous thinking, teamwork, user-centeredness, curiosity and optimism. Besides sharing innovation insights and knowledge, the experienced Spring House team of facilitators provide creative support and coaching. Every part of the program is customized to the need of the selected teams. In the last Summer Lab, they will present their completed prototype.

An intense, inspirational and joyful summer, in which innovative teams develop their idea into a prototype in close collaboration with each other and a group of designers.

The Spindle Award for Best Idea
After The Spindle Summer Labs, the jury will select three nominees to pitch at the Partos Innovation Festival in October – out of which one will win the award for ‘Best Idea 2017’, 5000 euro of seed money, a grant writer for a day and exposure to a big network of development organisations.
