About

Every other month a meeting takes place of the Data Informed Decision Making Working group, to talk about open data and data driven decision making. Interested to join the working group or just a meeting to get acquainted? Write an e-mail to Jesse.

More use should be made of the data available when building and monitoring our Theory of Change

About the working group

The Data working group is formed by staff of Dutch development organisations, data experts of Data4Development, and the TU Delft. The working group members look at data driven decision making within development programs. There’s a growing interest as organisations are now in the process of publishing their project information as open data in conformity with IATI. This group explores the possibilities on the basis of two pilot cases in Uganda. What data were used for the country strategies? What other data are available that are relevant to monitor our strategies? How could the project benefit from these data?
