Tuesday December 13th, The Spindle hosted its first ever co-creation session together with our partner, 1%Club. Five innovation labs were present with each lab having about 4 to 5 co-creators.
The co-creators all enjoyed working on the relevant topics and the lab initiators were very happy with the result and the valuable input of the co-creators: different people, different insights! The Spindle looks back on a successful co-creation session and is excited and curious to see how the labs will develop in the coming period.
These five innovation projects and their requests were discussed during the co-creation session:
- Deconstructing Hate: Critical Moments in Gaming
- Tax Justice on the agenda for the upcoming elects in the Netherlands
- Thursday in Black in The Netherlands
- From Civic Space to Civic Power
- Online Theory of Change facility
The fruit of the co-creation
Deconstructing Hate – Critical Moments in Gaming learned that they should get closer to the target group of gamers. Tax Justice came up with a viral campaign on ‘tax theft’. Thursdays in Black linked up with a new potential partner in raising awareness for sexual violence. The Online Theory of Change facility used the network of the group to get more leads to ‘first followers’ and From Civic Space to Civic Power designed a desired conversation with the private sector, which will be followed up in January.
The dedication and collaboration, the different quality and skills people brought in, bringing things in a few hours a lot further and laying (partially) a concrete foundation.
Let’s co-create some more (online)!
