These are the nominees for Best Innovation 2017

Pezesha, School for Justice and Momala compete for the Spindle Award for Best Innovation 2017

agenda September 28, 2017

This Monday, the shortlisted ten best innovations pitched in front of the Jury. After their thorough consideration, we proudly announce the selected innovations: congratulations to Momala, School for Justice and Pezesha! One of these three innovations will win The Spindle Award for Best Innovation 2017 at the grande finale: the Partos Innovation Festival on October 12.

The Spindle Jury Event was hosted at the Accenture Innovation Awards Jury Event, where innovators competed in 12 categories for a spot in the finale. The Spindle teams followed the concept of the evening and presented their concepts in international development. All teams pitched for 2 minutes after which they were exposed to a pointy Q&A by the Jury. After all pitches, the Jury concluded that all teams had done extremely well and that – although not all of them were proceeding to the final – most of the teams are working on very promising projects in important fields.

What’s next?
At the Partos Innovation Festival the three selected innovations will again pitch in front of the Spindle Jury. The Jury will for the last time deliberate on the innovations, and decide upon the winner of The Spindle Award for Best Innovation 2017. This title comes with a prize of €5000 to develop a scale-up strategy and support in resource mobilization.

The Spindle would like to thank Accenture for their kind hospitality and warm invitation to participate in this well-organised Jury Event.
