On March 24th, The Digital Journey kick-started with more than 50 participants from 30 different Partos member organizations. Considering the current circumstances, The Digital Journey has lived up to its name and went entirely online! The goal of The Digital Journey is to accelerate the digital transformation within their organizations in new and exciting ways. During this journey, we’ll co-create digital strategies in Joint Action Groups to build an innovation upon the needs of the Dutch development organizations and discover solutions for digital challenges. The Digital Journey will end in October during the Partos Innovation week, where the Joint Action Groups will present their results.
Events so far
During the kick-off event, the so-called LinkingPins (representatives of the 30 different Partos Member Organizations), exchanged their digital ambitions, what they are proud of, the risks they see and their brilliant failures. Digital 100 members and other IT specialists supported this process. In total 53 people joined. After the event, the LinkingPins had a better understanding of who was participating and discovered who had similar thoughts and ideas with, in order to move on to the next step! On April 7, it was time to join forces and form the Joint Action Groups (JAGs). 14 LinkingPins had prepared an idea which they shortly pitched to the other participants in smaller break-out rooms. The other LinkingPins were then able to join an idea and form a JAG.
Nine different Joint Action Groups moved on to the Pitch event, which was hosted on April 21st. The LinkingPins pitched their ideas to potential contributors such as techies, the Digital 100 or universities, to find support for their ideas and further realize their actions. The contributors were able to share expertise on the ideas they found interesting and in which they could assist the LinkingPins.
The Digital Journey Video
The Spindle has, in collaboration with a film-maker, Julian van de Pas, supported by Sanne Turkenburg, created a video of The Digital Journey. This video gives a brief description of the Digital Journey and looks at the digitalized events that we’ve been hosting. A few LinkingPins also share their digital stories and what they expect from this journey! You can check the Digital Journey Video down below.
