Are you interested in learning about responsible data, what it is and why it is of importance in international development cooperation? Do you wish to contribute to developing a learning trajectory on responsible data? The Spindle, in collaboration with the Netherlands Red Cross and the Centre of Innovation (Leiden University), organises a first meeting of what is to become a responsible data working group on November 26th.
The responsible use of data is an issue that is getting increased recognition among major stakeholders. It considers the consequences the use of data could have on vulnerable people around the globe and it takes measures to avoid putting individuals or communities at risk. In the learning trajectory that is to be developed, we intend to take a closer look at the importance of responsible data, the policy and practice of responsible data use by different actors, and the useful tools to work responsibly with data.
More information on this meeting will follow.
Date: Tuesday, November 26, 2019
